O-ring King (aka Brian Cooper) - Equipment Officer
His main job is looking after the magnificent Rigid Inflatable Boat (or RIB) known as 'Valley One', bought courtesy of a sports lottery grant. O-ring (aka Brian Cooper) derives his name from his fanatical devotion to these little bits of material that we know and love. He is a qualified scuba technician, advanced diver and open water instructor - he has been diving 30 years. O-ring is married to Jessica and have a son. He has an enormous amount of dive equipment and spares. The man you need on any serious expedition where you will often find him with an array of medium pressure hoses and other 'bits' sorting our peoples kit.. O-ring is responsible for ensuring all the RVSAC kit is regularly tested and in good working order! He also allocates equipment to trainees and prepares / checks kit for expeditions.
