Ribble Valley Sub Aqua Club (RVSAC) accepts all safe divers from any other recognised diving organisation and people who want to learn to dive.

If you are not already trained as a BSAC diver you will need to undertake the short crossover programme which is included in your membership.

As an existing diver you may want to increase your skills, undertake further training or just 'go diving'. RVSAC offers progression through the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) diver grades and encourages divers to become instructors, but only when they are ready and want to do it!!

RVSAC is superbly equipped with its own boat and mount fascinating diving trips and expeditions. We also charter dive boats at coastal locations for our own organised dives.

So as a qualified diver, what do I get for my money?

Once you have confirmed you want to join, Matt, our treasurer, will be delighted to relieve you of your money. You will be asked to complete and sign a membership form and a medical questionnaire to satisfy us that you are fit to dive. Once the paperwork is complete we will give you:

• FREE air fills from Reefers & Wreckers
• membership of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC);
• Third party insurance;
• DIVE - the monthly BSAC magazine;
• A RVSAC login and password so you can access the members only area of the website;
• Access to equipment, trips and events run by the branch;
• Access to regional courses and events;
• Your own RVSAC e-mail address.

If you want to increase your skills or undertake further training a further charge will be made to cover the following:

• The relevant diving manual for your grade;
• A student workbook;
• A qualification record book;
• All inclusive training with no time limit to reach the next grade.
